Ahmet Yasagan, endüstri mühendisliği alanında yüksek lisans derecesine sahiptir. 1998’den 2008’e kadar Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Teknokent’te, TÜBİTAK Bilişim Teknolojileri ve Araştırma Enstitüsü’nde çalışmıştır. Bu kurumda devam eden projelerin yönetimine destek sağlamanın yanı sıra, TÜBİTAK başkanlığındaki hibe mekanizmaları komitesinin üyesiydi. 20 yılı aşkın iş deneyimiyle, 2008 yılında kurduğu danışmanlık firması ile Türkiye’deki Ar-Ge ve inovasyon ekosisteminde KOBİ ve TTO çözüm ortağı olarak hizmet vermektedir. Bu kapsamda süreç yönetimi, akademik eşleştirme ve devlet teşviklerinden yararlanma yoluyla nitelik hizmetleri sunmaktadır. Üniversite-sanayi işbirliği faaliyetleri kapsamında üniversite; elektronik, otomasyon, yazılım, makine, biyoteknoloji ve kimya sektörleriyle yakın çalışmaktadır.
Hızlandırıcı programlarda organizasyon hizmetleri, inovasyon odaklı atölye bazlı eğitimler, mentorluk ve jüri üyeliği sağlamanın yanı sıra, kuruluş kuluçka merkezleriyle işbirliği yapmaktadır. Aynı zamanda, bir STK olan Türkiye Mentor Derneği’nde iki dönem başkanlık yapmış olup, halen derneğin konsey üyesidir.

Ahmet Yasagan holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering. From 1998 to 2008, he worked at the Middle East Technical University Technopark, TUBITAK Information Technologies and Research Institute. In addition to providing assistance to the management of ongoing projects at this institution, he was a member of the grant mechanisms committee presided over by TÜBİTAK. For over 20 years of work experience, he serves as a SME and TTO solution partner in the Turkish R&D and innovation ecosystem on behalf of the consultancy firm he established in 2008. In this capacity, he offers qualification services by means of process management, academic matching, and government incentive utilization. Within the scope of university-industry cooperation activities, the university works closely with the electronics, automation, software, machinery, biotechnology, and chemical sectors. In addition to organizing services, training, mentorship, and jury membership in accelerator programs, the organization collaborates with incubation centers. Simultaneously, he served for two terms as president of the Turkish Mentor Association, an NGO, and remains a member of its council.
